If Money was Unlimited...

...this is the date I'd take Sean on.

I would find somewhere for M to stay, make a few arrangements with his work, and pack a bag or two. When he got home from work, I'd tell him to jump in the shower because I was taking him out for dinner. I'd have a limo pick us up and take us somewhere for a nice steak dinner, and then have the limo take us to the airport, where we'd hop on a plane to Vancouver, and then straight to a fancy hotel, because it would be late. The next day we'd sleep in, go out for brunch, then do some sightseeing, I would plan it around some awesome concert or maybe a pro sports game, and we'd take that in. The next day, when he's expecting to head back to the airport, we'd pick up our rental Hummer and drive up to Whistler for 4 days on the snow (because I would have packed our boards on the sly...). We'd of course have a sweet condo rented there, with a hot tub. Then we'd hum along back to Vancouver and fly back home.

Yep. If I wasn't limited to my bank account, that's what I'd do.

Just curious why if money wasn't an issue you wouldn't go somewhere more exotic? Just wondering? :) I like your ideas though, Sean's a lucky man... no matter how much is in your bank account!!!

You're right - I should switch it to be "The date I'd love to take Sean on... if money were no object." We do of course have bigger dreams than this, like New Zealand and a Mediterranean cruise... This came from me helping Sean stay awake while driving home from the farm the other night: I told him that if I was to plan a great date for him, this is what I'd do...

My hubby took me on a surprisetrip once. I had to pack our bags for weather similar to ours for one week, but didn't know where we would be going. We ended up in England; first in Canterbury, then in Hastings. It was great! This weekend I'm surprising him, he knows were going away and that we'll stay in the Netherlands but has no idea what town we'll go!
I think hubby has a whole lot more surprises up his sleeve but we'll have to save some more before we go on a full blown vacation again!
